How To Ask A Respectful Question Regarding Autism

• When asking someone questions regarding autism, ensure that you are using appropriate and respectful language. For example, if somebody has an autistic sibling, never as them “whats wrong with your brother?” Instead, it is more appropropriate to say something along the lines of “would you mind telling me a bit more about your brother?” It is incredibly important to be mindful of how you are speaking to others so you do not cause them any sort of pain with your words.
