What is Autism?

Autism is a type of neurodivergency caused by differences in the brain. It is not known what exactly causes autism, but it is important to keep in mind that autism is not a “one size fits all” situation, and every autistic individual is different. For example, some individuals with autism are non-verbal, while some are verbal. Autism is a spectrum, and everyone with autism has their own struggles.
